eLearning Awards
Young Digital Planet was a Principal Partner for the eLearning Awards, awarded in 2006 for the sixth time. The eLearning Awards aim at identifying and awarding excellent practice in using ICT for learning. They highlight common European cultural values by investing in human capacities and teachers' professionalism. Awards are given to ongoing or recently completed educational projects and activities. The best three projects submitted won first, second and third prize in the overall category, the 'Young Digital Planet Award for Best use of ICT in education'. UniversalCurriculum is aimed at three distinct types of clients operating in the K-12 market:

  2. National Ministries of Education
    or local government organisations, which intend to provide access to a wide spectrum of modern e-Learning materials for schools, teachers and pupils, thus increasing the effectiveness and appeal of education.

  3. K-12 eLearning Portals
    or other Educational Service Providers offering comprehensive electronic study materials and Virtual Learning Environments for schools and/or individual pupils.
